When I remember to do what I most want to do first, I'm not as disappointed when Tribe informs me of a temporary lapse in its functionality. I had considered subscribing to Tribe but I'm glad I didn't because I'd be very annoyed at such inconsistent service. As it is, the only price I pay is seeing advertising served up with content, so while I am disappointed, I don't feel cheated.

First thing today, I posted a link to a story about Dick Cavett on Depression Tribe in which he is discussing his experience of "the worst agony devised for man." After that, I was able to see a couple of my Tribes before getting the new, improved "donut" message.

If you can't log in to Depression Tribe and want to see the story, do a Google news search on Dick Cavett.

It was down at 9:46 when I wrote that and now at 6:46 it is also down. I wonder how much up time, if any there was in between.
