Speaking of nuclear power...

Here is a summary breakdown of power generation by type.

In short electricity produced by fossil fuels (coal, gas, oil, etc) is currently 71% of our total power generation. Nuclear power accounts for 19.4%.

According to the web site below (and a few others) we currently have 104 nuclear reactors operating in the US (Oh and BTW a number of them are coming up on the end of their licenses and projected usable time I do believe).
