That is Ok about doing posting on the wall. There is nothing wrong with some graffeti. It was good one at that.

I'll get the format of these Refugee tribes down sooner or later. Okay, we have this "Comment Wall", which is separate from all the discussion threads. I'm thinking I should have started a discussion to get the author of this poem. Hmmm. Too late now.

I have no clue. Someone sent it to me nine years ago. She didn't know the author either. She just loved it. So do I (profoundly).

If I go with you, down the path, through the door,
leading to a wild scream,
will I be found?
If I sanction this flash of light,
if I sign for the release of tension,
if I mention, in the frenzy, that I love you,
will one of us go mad?

Like spirit let loose from raw boned shadow,
I'm tight inside and slightly shaking.
I know what my needs want.
I know why the horizon brought you into view.
I know we are runners racing through a brief night,
and each of us must win some medals,
so when the last days cool down around us,
we can twine each other’s fingers and laugh.
Maybe the kitten will be grown as a lion.
Maybe you'll see gray in my hair and stain on my teeth.

My dreams are rigid and self-supporting
like fire that heats the blasting sun.
I know I'm something that is good for the soul.
I know I'm stronger than fear, and braver than death,
but I am engaged to motion,
so even when you're holding me steady,
I'll be moving, I'll be moving.

My God, is this site actually growing? ...Cool! That whole "Tribe is in limbo" thing was about to make me go postal.
