Blinkies in dreads?

I just got new dreads (woohoo) and had a crazy idea of lights in my hair.... I've tought about this before and even put el wire throughout my hair with the driver hidden in my bra.


Any ideas on how to use any kind of blinkies in my hair or in dreads so it looks like it blinks on it's own? Like some kind of small driver pack or.... Clips are ok but they break easily.

hmmm. if you have a lot of hair you may be able to hide the power source at the nape of your neck below the hair line. or you could wear some kind of headband and conceal the power source in it. I'd think you'd want some kind of string lights or you'd need to have an individual power source for each light (like throw lights). you could design your hairstyle around the purpose of concealing the wires. you could also make an illuminated headpiece using individual LEDs attached to a thin wire (like a crown structure that sits on the head, or something that wraps around or snakes through the hair) that could be concealed . or you could make the structure part of the design.
