So it seemed to be affecting very few. But then it immediately tanked again - a couple of times I was able to get on but not to post anything. It's now that all the dead rats in the walls that Darren built are coming to light, I think, and stinking up the place.; ▶ Reply to This

The CSS code must be trying to pull the page framing and graphical content from "images.tribe.net".
This must be a separate server from the main "home.tribe.net" one since this one has no problems loading the login screen from my experience.

Whether the image sever has a serious issue or there is a bottleneck, the page loading process halts or times out right there. Sometimes the browser does "load" a basic rudimentary version of the page, sans any CSS formatting and graphical content and the site is still functioning even if it is slow. I was still able to send a pm and browse some tribes whilst the pages were rendering in such a way.
