What is Burning Man?

I've seen this in Tribe and now here. For those of us who don't know what it is or what goes on, would someone please go into detail about what surrounds the Burning Man?

Burning Man is first a chance to escape from your everyday life.

Burning Man is a challenge (it tests you). It is art and expression. It is heart and soul. It is survival. It is extreme. It is what you make it. Nothing is certain. It is unforgettable.

It's heinous and wrong- a bunch of painted lunatics pick a random attendee, chase her or him* down with big complicated wind-powered vehicles (some made of nothing more than wire and tape), put her or him inside a satanic muslim cross-altar such as the ancient pagan druids once used, and burn that poor person alive.

You'd think the cops would try to put a stop to it but no: each year more and more cops get in on the action! It's truly depraved. I can't imagine what it would be like to be the poor chosen person. They carry the unsuspecting fool around on a palanquin for awhile and if you try to tell the person, "hey: they're going to burn you alive" then someone comes into your tent at night (you're only allowed to sleep in tents and they can't actually be propped up by anything (there are a lot of rules at burning man)) and puts what looks like sand in your underpants - but it isn't merely sand, oh no, it's poisonous sand that rots your hmm-hmm and makes it smell like wet metal. Truly: horrifying and wrong on every conceivable level.

* Oh yes: many poor women have assumed that only males are burnt but of course this is not the case. The name of the event is a ruse contrived just for that very purpose: luring in burn-thirsty women for the unholy offering to their atheist totems.

Loki so rocks. But you forgot about the part where the packs of crazed lunatics force random people to take strong hallucinogens, strip them naked and end engage in horrid, deprived sexual acts that cannot be described in these august pages.

BUT Burningman is giving you a 180 degree turn in life where you can come up with the solution for your life for your liberation.

I camped with 130 people from all over the world. We challenge the elements, and we set up what we can call HOME. and for many that is just as good or better than the actual house.

Talking about devils and drugs, and burning people alive. BULL SHIT. !! JAJa that was the funniest one. !!.

But well. you better come and live it... I totaly invite you. you will love the place, and the fun, and the music, and the customs. IT is a party as you have never seen it before. and I can asure you will get fun.!
